August 18 Paramount Theatre. Ed Sheeran is an entertainer and entertained flawlessly last night. He narrated his performance as he performed his new songs from Subtract. The band was flawless. He told the audience that the songs were written during a very dark time and reflected it but that he would then perform a “happy†hour of songs. His final song performed to a silent audience with no microphone displayed a talent that is seldom seen today. He captured his audience.
