Eric Clapton & The Wallflowers

Why see Eric Clapton & The Wallflowers?

Eric Clapton is one of the world's best-known guitarists and a music legend in his own right, having been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three times! Clapton is also ranked second in Rolling Stone magazine's Top 100 Guitarists of All Time.

On his Spring 2013 tour he is joined by The Wallflowers, a rock band heralding from Los Angeles. The band will be promoting their latest studio album, Glad All Over, which includes the single 'Reboot the Mission'.

English-born Eric Clapton is no stranger to touring, with a musical career spanning over fifty years! Clapton's first band was called The Yardbirds where he played lead guitar. In 1966 he joined the newly formed Cream, a move which helped cement his cult status as one of Rock and Roll's most inspired musicians and guitarists, this status only rivaled by guitar-legend Jimi Hendrix.

Some of Eric Clapton's best known songs include Tears in Heavan, Layla, Wonderful Tonight and Change the World.
