Why see Bun B?
Ridin' Dirty
Southern rap royalty Bun B hits the stage once again this year, with a major highlight being the massive, star-studded Ridin’ Dirty celebration, commemorating the 30th anniversary of UGK's seminal 1996 masterpiece. Backed by lineup of special guests filling in for the late Pimp C, Bun B brings the sound of Texas hip-hop to life with a full, front-to-back performance of the record in its entirety for the first and perhaps only time. Witness a masterclass in lyricism from a pioneer who helped shaped genres!
Southern Rap Star
As one-half of the duo UGK (Underground Kingz), Bun B is universally recognized as an architect of Southern rap and a pillar of American hip-hop. Hailing from Port Arthur, Texas, the veteran MC helped shift the focus away from just the coasts in the early 1990s, introducing the world to a whole new brand of rap. Following the tragic passing of his collaborator Pimp C, Bun B successfully transitioned into a formidable solo career, not only as a rapper but also beyond the microphone, including work as a coloring-book author, university lecturer, entrepreneur and even opening a burger joint.
