The world's top-selling instrumental artist Chris Botti has charm and talent in spades; the Italian American contemporary jazz trumpeter breathes new life into a range of different genres from American songbook standards to bebop classics by the likes of Miles Davis. Botti is not only a highly skilled musician but a consummate entertainer, with a gleam in his eye his onstage banter calls to mind the performers of jazz's golden age.

Formed back in 1995 in Los Angeles, Ozomatli the musical six-piece are still going strong and preparing for a nationwide tour this winter. The eclectic group are known for their work in the music styles of funk, jazz, reggae, rap and salsa. They have also been recognized for their activism, particularly in the areas of farm-workers' rights and immigration reform.

For many, the unique sound of Macy Gray's husky vocals defined mainstream R&B and neo soul in the early 2000s. Originally hailing from Ohio, the songstress fell into the industry when she agreed to help a fellow muso record a demo tape. First formed to provide the music to legendary producer Miles Copland's Bellydance Superstars troupe, Beats Antique is composed of David Satori on the guitar, saz and viola, Sidecar Tommy Cappel on the keys and toy piano, and Zoe Jakes, belly dancer, and composer extraordinaire. Together the experimental trio creates a heady fusion of Balkan-style wedding music, electronica, Middle Eastern riffs, Gypsy Jazz and flamenco amongst other world music genres, all packaged within a highly entertaining live show.
