Frank Erwin Center's 40th Anniversary Celebration featuring George Strait!

The Frank Erwin Center will be celebrating its 40th Anniversary in June 2018. Since the opening of its doors in 1977, the Frank Erwin Center has created many memories and retained a rich history, ranging from outstanding musical performance and sporting events to visits from former presidents and world leaders.

However, there is one man who's played a massive part in the Frank Erwin Centers' legacy, and that's George Strait. Strait has performed at the Erwin Center more times than any other artist - seem's only fitting that he would be the one to commemorate this huge achievement!

The country music legend will be playing an exclusive "Strait Texas" show in celebration of the Anniversary. This is a one-of-a-kind performance and is currently the only Texas show on the King of Country's calendar. The opening act for the event is Asleep at the Wheel, who since their 1970 inception, has won nine Grammy Awards and released over 20 albums.
