Beartooth came into existence in 2012 when founder Caleb Shomo started writing his own music while he was a member of Attack Attack! After leaving the band Shomo created Beartooth as a casual project to just have fun with. The band quickly moved from playing fans' living rooms to taking the stage at the infamous Warped Tour.
