Decades after first reshaping the sound of indie rock, Pavement continue to reunite for select tours that remind audiences why their influence has never really faded. Led by Stephen Malkmus, the band's run of five eradefining albums from 1989 to 1999 cemented them as one of the most distinctive and inventive acts of their generation.

Whilst they might never have had huge mainstream success, they gained a cult following, eschewing big labels and keeping their sound independent, leading them to be one of the more interesting bands of the era. No doubt the intervening years have only sweetened their popularity!
